Gamecocks fall to Arkansas State
in first D1 match, look to
rebound in Week 2 |

With an incomplete roster and
after a long journey, the
Gamecocks fell hard to Arkansas
State this weekend. The
Gamecocks came out slow and were
out-played by a fundamentally
sound Arkansas State team. The
lone Carolina try was scored by
Senior Captain Joe Vellon and
Corey Benov added a field goal.
This week the Gamecocks look to
rebound as they play the Gators
on Saturday. |
