As many East Coast teams get into the
start of their fall seasons and league
play, schools in the South are also
taking the opportunity for some
preseason action.
In what is probably regarded as an
upset, East Carolina beat South Carolina
50-24 Saturday in Greenville, NC.
ECU outscored the Gamecocks by seven
tries to four. “There was a lot of poor
tackling in the backs,” South Carolina
head coach Geoff Mason told ARN.
