Whether you've always dreamed of being a college athlete, or you're a U19 player aspiring for greatness, the Men's Rugby Club at the University of South Carolina has something for everyone. Founded in 1967, we're the oldest sports club on campus, and have an illustrious history full of championship-caliber accomplishment. Our field is only a year and a half old, and is widely considered by visiting coaches, teams, players, and fans as the best place they've ever played. We have alumni spread throughout the world, and last year boasted a roster of 50+ players from 7 different countries and 16 states, including a world-class coach from Australia. When you put on your boots for the University of South Carolina, you reserve the right to play in the SEC Championship Rugby Tournament, the Palmetto Championship Rugby Tournament, and in USA Rugby Division One competition. We've won our union championship more than any other club in South Carolina and are 1 of only 7 collegiate teams in all of USA Rugby South to have the honor of playing in Division One. Because we want to be the best, we only wear the best, and our jerseys are of the finest selections Barbarian Pro-Fit and Kooga have to offer. Most importantly, we have the pieces in place today to keep on winning throughout the future, and we want you to be a part of our tradition.
